William B. Travis

William B Travis was born on August 9, 1809, but some believe he was born on the 1st.

He got involved with the Texas Revolution because he did not like the Mexicans rules. The Mexicans rules were they did not have the same rules as the United States.

Before he got involved with the Texas Revolution he worked as a assistant teacher . When he was 19 he married one of his students.

He was important to the Texas Revolution because he was one of the leaders of the Alamo. He also died in the Battle Of The Alamo.

His full name was William Barret Travis.
William B. Travis also attended college in a academy called Sparta.

Sadly, on March 6,1836 William B Travis died by getting shot in the head with one single bullet.
